Pay Rate: -25.00 $/Hour Job Title: Medical Assistant (Days) City: Cincinnati State: OH Job Type: Local Discipline: Allied Health Professional Speciality: Medical Assistant Facility Setting: Short Term Acute Care (STAC) Accepting Locals per Radius Rule? - Yes Contract Length: 13 weeks Shifts: M-F 8AM-5PM Shift Details: - Weekly Schedule: 40 Hours Overtime Policy: NA Supplemental Schedule: NA Certifications: Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program. Associate degree is preferred. BLS Certifications is required. Certified/Registered Medical Assistant from a certifying body is preferred. Completed High School (Diploma or GED) is required. Mandatory Experience: Required: Rooming patients, preparing injections, working in-basket. Required Skills & Experience: Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, EMR and scheduling systems). Strong verbal and social skills to facilitate working respectfully with patients, physicians, visitors, co-workers, and drug reps in person or by telephone. Ability and willingness to travel to other physician offices as requested or needed. Preferred Skills & Experience: 2 to 5 years of Medical Assistant or other relevant experience. Practice in different care settings (eg. Primary care, Speciality, EMT, etc.). Complementary clinical skills such as phlebotomy, performing EKGs, stiches removal, splinting, etc. Required Skills: Excellent Computer Skills Microsift Outlook Need to float between two locations throughout week.
