Pay Rate: -25.00 $/Hour Job Title: Medical Assistant (Days) City: Cincinnati State: OH Job Type: Local Discipline: Allied Health Professional Speciality: Medical Assistant Facility Setting: Short Term Acute Care (STAC) Accepting Locals per Radius Rule? - Yes Contract Length: 13 weeks Shifts: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Shift Details: 8 Hours Weekly Schedule: 36-40 hours/week. Overtime Policy: NA Supplemental Schedule: NA Certifications: Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program. Associate degree is preferred. BLS Certifications is required. Medical Assistant. Certified/Registered Medical Assistant from a certifying body is preferred. Completed High School (Diploma or GED) is required. Mandatory Experience: Pediatric experience required. Required: EMR experience, 1+ years experience in medical office setting rooming patients, taking vitals, and administering vaccinations Preferred: 2-5 years experience, Epic experience, Phlebotomy experience Flu Shot is required. Required Skills & Experience: Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, EMR and scheduling systems). Strong verbal and social skills to facilitate working respectfully with patients, physicians, visitors, co-workers, and drug reps in person or by telephone. Ability and willingness to travel to other physician offices as requested or needed. Preferred Skills & Experience: 2 to 5 years of Medical Assistant or other relevant experience. Practice in different care settings (eg. Primary care, Speciality, EMT, etc.). Complementary clinical skills such as phlebotomy, performing EKGs, stiches removal, splinting, etc. Required Skills: Phlebotomy Excellent Computer Skills Microsift Outlook Excel Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm Expected to work between 36-40 hours/week.
