You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary repairs to maintain optimal performance. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and experience in a food manufacturing environment

Description

  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and identify potential issues before they escalate.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and resolve equipment malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure minimal disruption to operations during repairs.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout all maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including repairs and part replacements.
  • Work closely with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs when needed.
  • Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety regulations at all times.

Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, ideally in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.

Job Offer
