As the Sr. Director of Investor Relations, this position will be responsible for planning an IPO, your responsibilities will include positioning the company effectively within the investment community, communicating its strategy, business portfolio and building relationships with key stakeholders. Here's a broad outline of your key roles and strategies: Primary Responsibilities: IPO Readiness & Communication Strategy Collaborate with CEO, CFO, leadership team and advisors to craft the IPO narrative, emphasizing the company's market opportunity, competitive advantage, and financial growth potential. Oversee the creation of the IPO prospectus, investor presentations, and press releases. Coordinate the roadshow, ensuring alignment with the CEO, CFO, and other executives. Promoting Company portfolio with the Investors Collaborate with CEO, CFO, leadership team and act as the primary point of contact for current and potential investors, analysts, and other stakeholders. Provide clear, consistent, and transparent updates about the companys strategy, financial performance, and market position. Ensure that all external communications align with the companys goals and comply with regulatory requirements. Investor Targeting & Relationship Building Identify and engage with prospective institutional and retail investors. Build a database of potential investors, leveraging market intelligence to target funds aligned with the companys growth profile and sector. Market Intelligence Monitor market trends, competitor performance, and investor sentiment to provide strategic feedback to the executive team. Analyze shareholder composition and identify gaps or opportunities to attract the right type of investors (institutional, retail, ESG-focused, etc.). Track analyst coverage, stock performance, and market reactions to the companys announcements. Messaging and Disclosure Develop clear, consistent, and compliant messaging to articulate the companys strategy, performance, and vision. Translate complex business models, technologies, and strategies into language that resonates with investors and analysts. Ensure adherence to SEC regulations and compliance in all communications. Financial Storytelling Translate complex technology and business models into compelling financial stories for investors. Highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the process technology sector. Market Positioning Understand the competitive landscape and position the company as a leader in its niche. Address market risks and differentiators with transparency. Post-IPO Transition Build the investor relations infrastructure, including investor calls, quarterly reports, and shareholder communications. Develop long-term relationships with analysts to establish coverage and market credibility. Qualifications: Education: Masters degree in business administration or an MBA 10-15 years of experience in Investor Relations in a global US listed company Should have worked as part of the leadership team and with an exposure to C-Suite in a public company Needs to demonstrate strategic thinking, i.e. proven track record of articulating the companys long-term value proposition and align IR strategy with corporate goals. Deep understanding of financial acumen, communication, storytelling and stakeholder engagement. Ethics and Compliance Upholds the highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, and compliance in all IR activities Executive presence Knowledge of the process technology industry or experience in related industries Experience working closely with executive teams on IPO readiness and investor-focused content.
