Our challenge We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with Banking Domain experience. Key Skills being excellent communication skill, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices and Kafka. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX and Pittsburg, PA is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications using best practices and design patterns. Design and implement data pipelines and streaming applications using Apache Kafka. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through continuous testing and integration. Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying areas for improvement. Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, especially in the financial services domain. Requirements: You are: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Solid professional experience in Java development. Strong experience with Apache Kafka, including configuration, deployment, and performance tuning. Knowledge of financial services products and services, including banking operations, payments, risk management, or regulatory compliance. Proficiency in Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture. Familiarity with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling. Experience with agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
