Branch Manager . Our client is dedicated to delivering top-notch products and services, and they are looking for a motivated individual to lead their inside and outside sales teams within the branch's territory.
Job Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day branch operations, including sales, service, parts, administration, and facility management. This role ensures smooth and efficient operations while driving business growth through strategic planning, staff development, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Job Duties:
- Manage all branch personnel including sales, parts, administration, and service teams.
- Develop a business plan aimed at driving revenue growth across all company products.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, practices, and procedures.
- Ensure branch personnel receive up-to-date training in safety, products, services, procedures, and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with the Branch Sales Manager and sales team to develop strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
- Foster teamwork between sales, service, and parts to provide exceptional customer service.
- Oversee sales activities, including managing incoming calls related to equipment sales, parts, and services, and handling vendor relationships.
- Conduct performance reviews of all branch personnel and ensure consistent performance management.
- Review expenses with the Office Manager and implement cost-saving measures.
- Hold regular meetings with sales, service, and office staff to review and improve branch operations.
- Serve as the primary liaison with corporate management and relay important information to branch personnel.
- Maintain the branch's facilities, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Qualifications:
- A university degree in engineering, marketing, business studies, or a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of air compressor industry experience preferred. However, strong industrial sales experience may be considered as a substitute for this requirement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A valid state driver's license, free of violations and convictions, with the ability to travel as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills for handling various business transactions and customer interactions.
- Leadership abilities with a talent for motivating and managing a team.
- Experience in developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies.
Physical Demands:
- Primarily desk-based work involving sitting and frequent phone use.
- Occasional off-site sales activities and supervisory duties, which may involve driving, walking, bending, crawling, or climbing, depending on the customer location.
Pay and Benefits:
- $95,000 - $125,000 a year.
