Job Description
A global consulting firm seeks a Business Analyst.
Business Analyst Requirement Assumption
The following are the current requirements we envision for a Business Analyst. However, as it is unlikely that a single consultant will meet all these requirements, we believe that a Project Manager will be necessary to handle engagement, problem identification, and task management.
【Healthcare Industry Knowledge】
• Understanding of hospital operations, healthcare workflows, and key challenges faced by providers and patients.
• Ability to navigate complex healthcare environments and understand various stakeholders' perspectives (e.g., doctors, administrators, patients).
• Familiarity with reimbursement processes and financial flows in healthcare settings (knowledge of VBHC is nice to have but not mandatory).
【Client Engagement & Problem-Solving】
• Strong ability to identify and understand client problems through interviews, observations, and workshops with stakeholders.
• Capable of translating client needs into actionable requirements and solution proposals that align with their specific business goals.
• Flexibility to adapt approaches based on evolving client needs and feedback, with a focus on delivering tailored, effective solutions.
【Solution Design & Requirement Definition】
• Define business and functional requirements based on client discussions, aligning them with feasible and scalable solution designs.
• Proactively suggest improvement opportunities in existing workflows, enhancing efficiency and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions align with both business needs and technical feasibility.
【Strategic Planning & Market Insights】
• Conduct market research and gather insights on industry trends to inform strategic recommendations for clients.
• Analyze competitors and benchmark industry best practices to guide solution development and positioning.
【Project Coordination】
• Manage PoC activities, including scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and overseeing task execution to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions promptly to keep the project on track.
【Communication & Presentation】
• Develop clear and compelling presentations and reports that effectively communicate findings, strategies, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse client audiences, including executives, clinicians, and technical teams.
【Ideal Background】
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis within healthcare settings or similar industries.
• Work in US eastern time and he or she is possible to visit the client site(@Pittsburgh).
• Proven track record of client engagement and solution design in healthcare or hospital management contexts.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and ability to propose viable solutions that align with client needs.
