Warehouse Production Supervisor

Join an established 57-year-old company as a Warehouse Operations Supervisor overseeing the administrative functions and operations of the order processing and fulfillment team.

Production Supervisor Experience Required

Position Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay Range: $21-$22/hr based on experience
  • Work Schedule: 8:15 am-4:15 pm, Monday-Friday
  • Benefits: Excellent Benefit package (Healthcare, 401k, PTO)
  • Location: Durham NC

Responsibilities:

  • Train leads running each line
  • Oversee the daily workflow and work scheduling of the Production department
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations
  • Plan for daily order output.
  • Create, analyze, and distribute daily and weekly reports
  • Perform inspections and task assignments
  • Arrange the work area, scheduling, and setting up workstations for efficient production
  • Monitor safety procedures and provide necessary equipment/instruction
  • Cooperate with service coordinators to help individuals with disabilities achieve vocational and behavioral training goals
  • Process paperwork for production, shipping, and/or receiving
  • Conduct quality control by checking printed material and verifying accuracy
  • Read and interpret job orders, specifications, shipping and receiving slips
  • Manage attendance records and approve timesheets
  • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and people skills - Fair but Firm
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and inventory tracking software
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Three years of experience in supervisory role in Production & order processing environment
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a strong plus
  • Good math recording, proofreading, and checking skills
  • Understanding of confidentiality and the rights of people with disabilities
  • Physical ability to carry, move or lift at least thirty-five pounds; bend; climb; crouch; kneel; stoop and walk
  • Fluency in English language
