What We’re Looking For: Energy Trust of Oregon is seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will leverage data analysis, process improvement, and strategic thinking to support our mission of promoting sustainable energy solutions. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will engage with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, analyze processes, and recommend improvements that contribute to our operational efficiency and effectiveness. This role is essential in ensuring alignment between business needs and strategic objectives, enabling Energy Trust to deliver superior services to our stakeholders. What You'll Do: Conduct comprehensive analyses of business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for projects and initiatives. Translate complex data into actionable insights and present findings to management and cross-functional teams. Develop and manage project plans, including scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to drive discussions, gather input, and foster collaboration. Utilize data analytics tools to support decision-making and evaluate business performance metrics. Design and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance operational workflows. Serve as a key liaison between business units and IT to ensure effective communication and project delivery. Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices to recommend innovative solutions within the organization. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements What You'll Need: Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and project management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Experience with business process modeling and improvement methodologies. Proficient in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Tableau, or similar applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
