SummaryThe Business Applications Analyst III is a senior-level analyst responsible for providing advanced analytical support for business operations, ensuring the integration and functionality of business applications. The Business Analyst III will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThese duties and responsibilities described below represent the general tasks performed on a daily basis; other tasks may be assigned.+ Advanced Data Analysis: Utilize tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SQL to develop complex data models and provide comprehensive analytics solutions. Create, maintain, and optimize detailed reports and dashboards for various business units.+ Business Requirements Gathering: Lead sessions to gather detailed business requirements from stakeholders across the organization. Translate these requirements into functional specifications for IT development and implementation.+ Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement, recommend solutions, and lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and data quality across business functions.+ Project Management Support: Contribute to PMO activities by providing analysis and reporting support for ongoing projects. Assist with project planning, resource allocation, and milestone tracking to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.+ Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key liaison between the IT department and business units, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives. Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance user competency and adoption of business applications and tools.+ Strategic Planning Support: Assist in the development of long-term strategies for business operations based on detailed analysis and forecasts. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and Experience+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.+ Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field, with a proven track record in managing complex projects and using data analytics tools.+ Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and other relevant data analysis and project management software. Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 suite of software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)+ Knowledgeable / familiar with any of the following highly desirable:Epic : Cadence, Charge Master, Clarity, Cogito / Caboodle, Grand Central, Hello World, HIM, Hospital Billing, Identity, MyChart, Prelude, Referrals and Authorizations, Security and Access.Non-Epic : Peoplesoft Finance, Peoplesoft Supply Chain Management, Press Gainey, Acuity, RL Datix, RL6, iContracts, 22 Miles, UKG Pro, UKG Workforce Management (Kronos), Axiom, AP SmartCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsOne or more of the following certifications may be desired depending on the departments / areas supported:Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB)Epic Health Information Management (HIM)Epic Cogito / CaboodleEpic CadenceEpic ClarityEpic Grand CentralEpic Security
