Job Description

An employer is looking for a PM to sit onsite in Redmond, WA. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project/Program Manager II to join our Kuiper Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex, cross-functional projects that support the manufacturing and production of Kuiper systems. You will play a key role in coordinating activities across Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams while working closely with business stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities Project Management Lead and manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budget. Provide leadership in driving cross-functional collaboration across Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams. Quality Control: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement and monitor quality control processes throughout the production cycle. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in production and quality management, driving continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Stakeholder Management: Work closely with various departments (engineering, supply chain, procurement, etc.) and external vendors to ensure effective project delivery. Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and opportunities. Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure projects stay on track. Escalate issues as necessary and implement corrective actions to keep programs within scope, schedule, and budget. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, budget tracking, project plans, and reports. Provide regular status updates to senior management. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and the successful execution of project deliverables.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience in project management, with a strong background in manufacturing, quality management, and integration of MES and SAP systems.

Proven experience managing projects that involve cross-functional teams, especially in high-tech or aerospace manufacturing environments.

Solid understanding of quality management principles and practices in a manufacturing setting.

Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience in aerospace or satellite manufacturing.

Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.

Knowledge of regulatory standards for aerospace production (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001). null
