The Associate will support the Corporate Banking Department by underwriting new credit proposals, managing assets post-lending, providing analytical support, responding to inquiries, and ensuring compliance with KYC/AML and other regulations. Additional responsibilities include preparing term sheets, credit memos, annual reviews, presentation reports, reviewing and negotiating loan documentation, and assisting in the post-lending administration process.

Business Development & Customer Relationship:
Conduct industry research and analysis to identify and evaluate potential business opportunities.
Perform market research to uncover new business prospects and prepare corresponding analyses.
Participate in onsite visits with customers.
Maintain regular client contact and seek opportunities to add value to client relationships.
Build and sustain relationships with existing and new partner banks.
Collaborate with other departments on special projects, including preparing presentations for senior management.
Engage in special projects and other assigned duties.
Credit Risk Analysis: Assist the Team Lead in preparing credit analyses, analytical reports, market rating models, and financial/cash flow projections. Monitor and analyze market conditions using both external and internal data to forecast future trends. Track key economic and demographic trends in assigned markets and report significant developments to supervisors. Monitor the existing loan portfolio to ensure accurate risk ratings and early identification of potential issues. Perform financial analyses to determine loan risk ratings and propose reserves for loan losses quarterly. Review loan documentation for accuracy and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Conduct due diligence and compliance checks (KYC/AML) in line with the bank's policies and procedures.
Portfolio & Post-Lending Management: Collaborate with relevant departments on loan processes, including account opening, loan closing, and post-lending monitoring. Conduct post-lending monitoring, including annual reviews of the loan portfolio, updating financial and performance reports, and reviewing compliance certificates and other documents. Risk & Compliance Management: Assist in completing risk and compliance assessments. Understand and adhere to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Process transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., AML, BSA, OCC, EAR). Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory requirements. Assist with audits by providing requested documentation promptly. Profile Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, finance, accounting, or economics; a master's degree is preferred. 1-5 years of experience in banking or financial services. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of credit analysis, spreadsheet modeling, cash flow projections, sensitivity analysis, and financial analysis. Passion for real estate, self-starter, high energy, dependable, detail-oriented but mindful of the big picture, able to multitask, perform under pressure, solve problems, take ownership of work, and make decisions with conviction. Team player.
Job Offer The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $150,000.
