Description
Friends is seeking to fill an Administrative Assistant position for the Business Division in Wichita Kansas. This position provides strong administrative support to the Business Division. The successful candidate will preform a variety of tasks, including the facilitation of Business Division processes, provision of general clerical support, supply and budget management, scheduling, event planning, and other office duties as required. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, customer orientation, demonstrated initiative, attention to detail, strong written and oral communication skills, confidentiality, and the ability to multi-task and problem-solve are critical to the job. Work hours are 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm.

Qualifications
Six months to two years of similar or related experience, preferably in a fast paced office with high interruption. Proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheets, and database required (Microsoft Office preferred). Excellent organizational, typing, and writing skills are also required. Ability to work independently and customer service skills are crucial.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate's degree or higher preferred.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary. Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner is required. Ability to learn and utilize various campus and student management software systems.
