Key Responsibilities
- Drawing Blood: Collect blood samples from patients and donors with care and precision for medical testing and procedures.
- Preparing & Labeling Samples: Ensure accurate labeling, processing, and storage of blood and non-blood samples (urine, sputum, throat swabs).
- Patient Interaction: Comfort and educate patients, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety and build trust.
- Sample Transport: Deliver samples to local labs, including Quest Diagnostics and LabCorp.
- Screening Tests: Conduct preliminary screening tests with accuracy.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assemble, maintain, and properly dispose of medical instruments like needles, vials, and test tubes.
- Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to laboratory, hospital, and safety protocols.
- Flexibility: Set your own schedule and routes, balancing work with personal life.
- Independence: Work autonomously while making a meaningful difference in patient experiences.
