As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Patient Interaction: Welcoming and interacting with patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Phlebotomy: Accurately drawing blood samples from patients of all ages, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience.
- Specimen Processing: Preparing and processing blood samples for laboratory testing.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Compliance: Adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
