Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Draw blood samples from patients of all ages, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort.
- Specimen Processing: Prepare and process blood specimens for laboratory testing.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Medical assistant or paramedic training
- Experience in a patient service center environment
- Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry
