Century Group's client is seeking a temporary Accounting Operations Specialist. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial operations. Collaborating closely with various departments, you'll report to the Manager of Accounting Operations. This position offers the opportunity to handle a wide range of transactional and reconciliation tasks while demonstrating your capabilities and growing within the team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $65,000 to $85,000 per year.

Job Description:
  • Manage the full cycle of accounts payable activities, including invoice processing and maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Address any discrepancies and manage collections diligently to maintain a healthy cash flow.
  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate transactions in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Maintain payroll records and assist in audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and synchronize QuickBooks with our bank and credit card accounts.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and analyses that support decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and adaptability to new software.
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll is highly preferred.
