Job Description
Misericordia University’s College of Business is accepting applications for a full-time visiting non-tenure track position in accounting for the 2025-2026 academic year. The College of Business has a growing and robust undergraduate business program with majors in accounting, business economics, entrepreneurship, health care administration, sport management, and business administration, with various specializations including certified financial planning and supply chain management. Our MBA program also includes a specialization in accounting. Additionally, the College of Business hosts the Misericordia University Low Income Taxpayer Clinic to provide representation services and education to taxpayers in Northeastern, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching on-campus undergraduate and graduate courses in areas such as accounting, auditing, tax, and business financial management, as well as advanced courses in accounting and finance in the MBA program.
Qualified applicants will have a master’s degree in accounting or business (with a focus in accounting/finance), with a terminal degree or current pursuit of doctoral studies preferred, and have teaching experience in accounting and/or finance. Professional experience in the field is required, and industry certifications are highly desired (CPA, CFP).
