JRAD is seeking candidates for Business and Financial Analyst positions to support health technology development initiatives for the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H).
Roles/Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive business and financial support to Project Managers (PMs). Responsible for performing a range of tasks to ensure the effective formulation, execution, and tracking of program finances.

Roles/Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive business and financial support to Project Managers (PMs). Responsible for performing a range of tasks to ensure the effective formulation, execution, and tracking of program finances.
Key responsibilities include:
Program Financial Formulation:
- Assist in strategic planning and preparation of technical, financial, and programmatic materials
- Provide budget information, conduct financial analyses, and ensure proper use of all funds
- Assist with the development of budget submissions
- Assist in creating Purchase Requests (PRs) and verify approved funding
- Review PRs for accuracy and adherence to regulations
- Provide training and assistance with financial tools
- Monitor financial systems and resolve issues
- Prepare, maintain, and track program financial information
- Conduct baseline and re-baseline analyses
- Execute cost and performance analyses and management reporting procedures
- Forecast, track, and update commitment, obligation, and expenditure data
- Create custom ad hoc financial reports
- Assist with travel projections and tracking.
- Maintain understanding of technology portfolios and initiatives
- Collaborate with portfolio managers
- Min of Bachelor's degree; preferred MS in Accounting/Finance or related business field
- 3+ years of experience in financial management, budgeting, and analysis
- Strong understanding of federal government financial systems and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with government contracting and familiarity with ARPA-H financial processes is a plus
- The ability to obtain or maintain Public Trust
