About Our Client
My client is a market leader in chemical manufacturing. They feel like a small family owned company with a global parent company, resources and backing. They are actively growing their US presence with already a few hundred US employees. They are looking for a Customer Service Representative to add to their team.
Job Description
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person, providing information about products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Address customer concerns or complaints effectively and professionally, providing solutions in a timely manner. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor when needed.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's products or services to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
- Assist customers with placing orders, checking order status, making changes to orders, or processing returns and exchanges.
- Record and document customer feedback, issues, and interactions in the company's CRM or database to track and resolve ongoing concerns.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved to their satisfaction.
- Strive to exceed customer expectations and ensure a positive customer experience at all times.
- Work closely with other departments (sales, technical support, billing, etc.) to ensure a seamless customer experience.

The Successful Applicant
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, preferred.
- Experience: Seeking 0-5 years of professional experience ideally in a customer facing role.
- Prior Customer Service experience.
- Language Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication.
- Computer Skills: Proficient with Excel and other computer programs. Able to pick up new programs and skills quickly.
- Attention to Detail: Working closely with orders, quotes, line items - CSR need an immense amount of attention to detail and organizational skills.
What's on Offer
- $55-65k base salary.
- Annual company bonus based on overall perfomance, paid once annually.
