The Team

We are seeking an Associate Program Manager to join American Tower's U.S. Tower division's Managed Networks department's Site Development & Construction ("SD&C") team. The team delivers all new assets and manages capital improvement and asset development projects across our in-building portfolio. Day to day, in close partnership with Regional Managers and the Director of SD&C, you will identify key metrics and perform financial forecasting to assess customers' needs and create optimal solutions. As an Associate Program Manager, you will partner cross-functionally to establish and implement the team's vision for and execution of national initiatives while also supporting both frontline representation in the field and strategic programs. What You Can Offer Us
Create and lead solutions to optimize existing assets and drive strategic and financial results for assigned product type(s).
Proactively work with vendors, cross-functional partners, the Sales team, and senior management to ensure projects' deliverables and goals are met.
Develop and execute comprehensive process documents that are reliable and repeatable for all programs, including thoughtful and integrated system optimizations to allow for streamlined and transparent experiences for internal and external stakeholders.
Create systematic and strategic approaches to manage all programs within assigned product type(s) to their optimal potentials.
Present to management monthly, quarterly, and annual operational reports identifying, among other items, various metrics that impact the Company strategically and financially.
Demonstrate leadership by defining risks, creating strategies for mitigating risks, solving problems, making value-based decisions, and generating quality deliverables to support programs' needs.
Evaluate reporting and dashboard needs and develop content for leadership meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum 6 years' telecommunications industry experience required.
Minimum 3 years of combined program and project management experience required.
Project Management Professional credentials preferred.
Strong technical skills, including with Microsoft Office suite; exceptional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
Able to analyze data, formulate recommendations, and implement process improvement solutions.
Approximately 5% travel may be required to support the position's responsibilities.
Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for yourself and a team to meet requirements and deadlines.
Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
Strong leadership skills; ability to drive and motivate a team to achieve results.
