This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of property accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. They will also oversee the implementation and management of Yardi, a leading property management software. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to take their career to the next level.Responsibilities:1. Manage all aspects of property accounting for a diverse portfolio of properties, including commercial, industrial and retail assets.2. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.3. Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.4. Implement and manage the Yardi property management software, including training and support for other team members.5. Collaborate with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.6. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.7. Provide strategic financial insight and recommendations to senior management.8. Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA designation is highly desirable.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, preferably in the mortgage industry.3. Proficiency in Yardi property management software is a must.4. Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles.5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.8.
