Senior Data Analyst - NO C2C Job at A-Line Staffing Solutions in New York

Title: Senior Data Analyst
Location: New York City – Midtown Manhattan (2-days onsite, 3-days remote Hybrid Schedule)

Note: This is a contract on W2. THIS IS NOT OPEN TO C2C.

Position Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst on a data management or data governance initiative
• Practical experience working with multiple project management methodologies, including at least one of the following; Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, or SAFe
• Experience working with project management organizational or visualization tools, such as; Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, SmartSheet, Wrike, or Rally
• Experience supporting short and long-term projects, data management, and strategic business activities through the analysis of data
• Ability to conduct in depth data analysis for projects as well as ongoing data quality initiatives
• Experience creating datasets from a variety of disparate sources to further data management initiatives and processes
• Demonstrated ability in performing data mining on large datasets to supplement data management quality improvement initiatives
• Experience consulting with business stakeholders to document business requirements to support client needs
• Experience presenting reports with analysis and interpretation for business review and planning
• Demonstrated experience working with relational databases and database structures, with proficiency in SQL, including experience developing and recommending business solutions through research and analysis of data
• Experience implementing Data Management lifecycle toolsets, master data, and/or reference data programs or toolsets
• Experience using creativity and process improvement skills to expand and improve existing processes, and to create new ones in accordance with data governance best practices
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, or R preferred
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field; Master’s Degree in a related field preferred
