Certification Details Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, KY License Job Details Prefers candidates to have experience in Cardiac ICU and experience with Pulmonary Artery Catheters & Intra Aortic Balloon Pump Position Template Facility Name: UofL Jewish Floor: 4th Floor - Towers Location Address: 200 Abraham Flexner Way Louisville, KY 40202 Job Requirements UofL now requires all candidates to have the FLU vaccine no exceptions CANDIDATES MUST BE 50 MILES OR MORE FROM THE FACILITY Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, KY License Years of Experience: 2 Float Requirements: All ICU or PCU units Schedule Information Shift: 6:45AM - 7:15PM Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekend Hours: every other weekend Call Requirements: None Unit Specific Information Number of Beds: 24 Patient Ratios: 2:1; rarely 3:1 for a short period of time Equipment: SWAN, IMPELLA, IABP, ARTIC SUN (Target Temperature Management), ZOLL IVTM (Target Temperature Management), EKOS, CADD, Alaris IV Pumps, Peritoneal dialysis, Prismax EMR: Cerner Additional Details Must Have Skills/Experience: ICU experience & Cardiac ICU, experience with Pulmonary Artery Catheters & Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump Preferred Skillset/Experience: Additional Cardiac pumps – swan, balloon & CRRT Type of Patients on Unit: Medical & Cardiac ICU patients Personality Fit: Humble, energetic, compassionate, adaptable, team player, willing to be a resource to other nurses if needed Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue tops/bottom/jackets.
