This is a fast pace/high case load facility Beds: 38 Experience Required: At least 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience required First time travelers are accepted Patient Diagnoses: Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, Chest Pain, GI Bleed, Sickle Cell Crisis, Suicide Ideation, Stroke, Pneumonia, Covid, Renal Failure, Altered Mental Status, Abdominal Pain Aya Offer information: Once candidate has signed and confirmation sent, manager has 48H to review the profile and confirm fit. Aya Offer available if no RTO and clinical pass meets specific facility requirements. Return travelers not eligible for Aya Offer. Job Requirements Must pass cardiac exam at orientation Every other weekend required Floating Required: Must be willing to float to other areas including other DCH facilities and other Med Surg units Work setting required or patient age group: Adults and geriatrics Skills Required: Med Surg and MS/Tele experience, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response. Colostomy Care and Feeding Tube Care/Management, Renal Failure experience, IV Therapy/Phlebotomy experience, experience with surgical drains, Respiratory/Thoracic experience, and Wound Care Schedule Information Holiday Policy 2024 - Allowed (1) holiday RTO request in contract from the following holiday list: Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day. Travelers can have up to 3 consecutive days off surrounding the holiday but may not include more than one holiday. Each Unit has a maximum about of approvals per holiday.
