Data Visualization Analyst Job at Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. in Washington

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Data Visualization Analyst to support our work with a federal client. This is a Hybrid role in Arlington, VA and is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.

Candidates must have an ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance or higher.

In this role you will:

• Leverage ServiceNow for data integration, reporting, and workflow automation to streamline processes and enhance productivity
• Design and implement advanced data visualization solutions to communicate complex datasets effectively
• Develop dashboards and tools to support data-driven decision-making processes, including integrations with platforms like ServiceNow as needed
• Utilize data engineering skills to structure and prepare datasets for analysis and visualization
• Collaborate with Agile project teams to prioritize and refine project requirements
• Support backlog management processes and work with stakeholders to define key objectives
• Ensure compliance with security and data governance best practices while developing solutions

REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates should be well-versed in data visualization techniques, beginner-level data engineering, and intermediate-level Agile backlog management.

Candidates must have:

• 7-10 years of experience in creating and delivering advanced data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent
• 2 years of experience with foundational data engineering skills, including SQL, ETL processes, and Python
• 3-5 years of experience using Agile methodologies, including backlog management tools like JIRA
• An active Secret Clearance or higher

Preferred Skills:

• Strong understanding of database systems such as SQL, NoSQL, or similar
• Familiarity with Python, R, or other programming languages used for data analysis
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Experience in working across cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently in remote/hybrid environments

Salary: $70,000-$85,000
