Product Development Engineer - Industrial - Springfield, MA

As the Product Development Engineer at this industrial manufacturing company, you will design and develop products for the site's key line of industrial parts. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and requirements and will see product development from design through to production.

Description

Reporting directly into the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Research and development activities
• Developing design for parts of key product line
• Support new product groups to understand key needs of customers
• Create design validation plans
• Designing parts and create drawings
• Evaluating products and make sure they are up to company standard
• Documenting tests, results, issues, and solutions

Profile

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering
• 2+ years of experience working in an industrial setting
• Experience with manufacturing processes in a high volume environment
• Experience using SolidWorks
