Our combined technical resources allow us to build, integrate, host and deliver campus-wide enterprise systems for both our campus and collaboratively with other campuses within the UC system. Additionally the team offers custom integration and application development services, business analysis services and data management services for a variety of departments on the campus. Come lead the creation and maintenance of AI/ML toolbox components, oversee the deployment process for Danswer and other frameworks, and coordinate with student developers on workload. Responsibilities: Responsible for integrating campus data sources and performing complex customization of internal training or feedback pipelines.
Demonstrates proficiency in container-based solutions, including Kubernetes, to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of applications
Independently perform the full range of responsibilities within the function, analyzing problems and issues of diverse scope and determining solutions with a high degree of accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Intermediate knowledge of secure software development.
Advanced skills associated with software design, modification, implementation and deployment, including object-oriented programming concepts.
Demonstrated ability to understand functional needs and how systems can support those needs.
Demonstrated ability to develop conversion and system implementation plans.
Thorough experience with identification and use of code libraries and open-source forums.
Experience with planning for deployment and creation of feedback mechanisms.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Job offer is contingent upon satisfactory clearance based on background check results.
Employee must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Employee must be available to travel as required.
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $77,000 - $139,200 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $36.88 - $66.67 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
