Job Summary:

This position will have primary responsibilities supporting the Sales staff/ Billing Departments for all bidding and quoted projects, provide accounting clerk assistance and general administrative tasks.

1. Assists in the preparing and compiling the material quoting documents.
2. Type letters, reports, forms, manuals, enter spreadsheet data, perform scanning, perform basic research, compile, copy and distribute documents as assigned, and filing.
3. Provide timely and accurate information to sales, billing and dispatch departments.
4. Handle routine and non-routine requests from the department, customers, suppliers and other business contacts.
5. Gathers, validates and reports data and statistical information.
6. May be assigned to assist with clerical functions within department (i.e. A/P, A/R, etc.)
7. May be asked to answer phones, greet visitors and process incoming/outgoing mail dependent on department setting.
8. Requisition of supplies, printing, maintenance and other services dependent on department setting.
9. Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or GED equivalent or AA diploma required.
2. Proficient computer, grammatical and clerical skills including knowledge of office equipment and MS Office applications.
3. Basic knowledge and understanding of policies and practices to exercise sound discretionary judgment.
4. Ability to work with minimal supervision, excellent communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
5. Ability to prioritize work assignments to meet deadlines.
6. Ability to exercise sound discretionary judgment in handling of non-routine, confidential or emergency situations.
7. Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
