About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Accounting Executive to spearhead our global accounting, finance operations, and external reporting teams. This pivotal role will serve as a strategic partner to the CFO and executive team, focusing on all accounting and reporting functions as we expand both domestically and internationally. As a key leader in our organization, you will drive the modernization of systems and processes, scale business operations, and enhance efficiencies within the accounting function.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing global accounting operations, managing the record-to-report cycle, ensuring timely month-end close, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering insightful financial reporting and analysis. You will also formulate a strategic vision for finance and accounting, manage the accounting budget, and lead a high-performing global team.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in public company accounting, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including a recent role as a CAO or similar position within a fast-growing public company. A CPA and/or a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required, along with a proven record in public company/SEC reporting and SOX compliance. Experience with global businesses, M&A activities, and a preference for candidates with a SaaS background are strongly preferred.
We value applicants who have a history of optimizing processes, systems, and teams. Strong leadership, organizational development, process improvement, strategic execution, and communication skills are crucial for success in this position.
