• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a small accounting team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including month-end close, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with budget preparation, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Audit & Compliance: Manage annual audits, ensure compliance with industry standards, and oversee tax reporting.
• Process Improvement: Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and maintain compliance with GAAP.

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience in real estate or property management preferred
• Leadership Experience: Proven ability to supervise and develop a team
• Proficiency in Accounting Software: Experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar property management software is a plus
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with a detail-oriented approach
