Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the Hotel Accounting and Finance Team
  • Participate in month-end close process, prepare journal entries, reconciliations and month end financial statements
  • Assist with various projects as needed
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or Hospitality Finance (in progress) or a similar degree
  • Minimum Junior status
  • Knowledge of Accounting and/or Finance principals
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and reports) and PowerPoint skills
  • Must be organized with the ability to work accurately in a time-efficient manner
  • Ability to participate in a 10-week program (June - August)
  • This position requires an applicant to reside and work onsite in a New York hotel.

Salary : $20 hr
