Job Title: Accounting Analyst

Location: Boston, MA, 02110

Duration: 04-Months Contract

Pay Range is $50 to $51.85/hr. on W2

Job Description:

This assignment will start fully on-site but once the individual is ramped up, will be hybrid

Independently review financial statements and shareholder reports for approximately 45 SEC registered Funds in the Eaton Vance complex for accuracy, completeness and consistency.

• Ensure compliance of Fund financial statements with SEC reporting requirements and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Research technical accounting and disclosure issues that may arise in connection with the review of Funds financial statements.
• Assist with addressing questions and resolving issues that may be identified by the auditors and third-party administrator.
• Timely complete checklists designed to provide evidence of review
• Maintain positive working relations with outside professionals, including the Fund auditors, the third-party custodian and administrator, and other service providers.
• Adhere to firm prescribed policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

• BS in Accounting, public accounting experience and CPA preferred.
• 4-6 years of relevant audit or financial reporting experience in the investment management industry.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership for responsibilities.
• Ability to work well in and contribute to a team environment.
• Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and aptitude for detail.
• Supervisory experience.
