Summary of Position Functions The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Manager with day-to-day management of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, proposals, estimates, documentation, turnover, client interface field-based activities, and other duties required to execute projects, construction management, and project management ventures. Essential Position Functions Assist Project Manager with the pre-construction process, project budgets, reviewing required work with subcontractors, and preplanning operational activities. Assist Project Manager by reviewing scopes of work. Proven ability to adhere to quality standards within company requirements & Industry codes and standards to include but not limited to ASHRAE, SMACNA, ASME, ASTM, NFPA, NACE, IBC & NEC. Assist Project Manager in building and maintaining strong relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Project Team, and Subcontractors. Communicates regularly with all involved parties regarding project plans, status of the project, upcoming activities, and open issues. Assist Project Manager with setting up initial budgets by tabulating each required scope of work and inputting into required project management and accounting systems. Consistently document meeting minutes and manage all project documentation. Education and Qualifications To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelors degree in related field or relevant applicable experience. 1+ years of construction experience. Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint, and Teams. Experience managing scopes of work with multiple vendors. Preferred experience with utility billing and the water industry. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of Energy Services Construction. Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment. Familiarity with architectural drawings and specifications. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities Ability to be detail-oriented and to multi-task. Excellent written, verbal, and diplomatic communication skills Outgoing, energetic self-starter willing to learn. Proficient in Microsoft Office products and experience with data analytics including Application Programming Interfaces (API) preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid Driver's License.
