Responsible for managing financial records, reconcilements, and ensuring the financial health of the organization. This role is ideal for problem solvers who enjoy working with numbers and have a keen eye for detail.

Job Duties:

Financial Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Budget Analysis : Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.

Audit Assistance : Support auditing teams by providing necessary reports and documentation and implementing recommendations for improving financial practices and processes.

Financial Reporting : Develop regular financial statements, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.

Company Bank Accounts

Balance Sheet Accounts

Positive Pay Exceptions

Backup for Payroll

Implementing New Accounting/Finance Tools

Requirements:

Educational Background : A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.

Analytical Skills : Strong ability to analyze financial data and provide accurate reports.

Attention to Detail : Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of financial records and reports.

Problem-Solving : Excellent problem-solving skills to manage and rectify any discrepancies in financial statements. Self-starter able to step into the role and work independently.

Communication Skills : Good verbal and written communication skills to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

Technological Proficiency : Proficiency with accounting software and tools, as well as a strong understanding of database management and commonly used financial software programs.

High proficiency with Excel a must

Experience with Salesforce a plus.

Experience with Sage Fixed Assets a plus

Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau a plus

Other:

Experience with Virtual Credit Cards a plus

Experience Implementing New Accounting/ Finance Tools a plus
