Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is seeking applicants for a Consumer Loan Servicing Representative position. Candidates must possess exceptional multi-tasking, organizational and problem-solving skills. This individual will be responsible for providing excellent service to members and employees while ensuring accuracy. Knowledge and experience utilizing Excel is a plus. Applicants must be willing to alter their schedule to include evenings and Saturday hours as needed. This position will be stationed at 4405 Theater Drive, Evansville, IN. If interested, please proceed by clicking Apply. Duties and Responsibilities: Process TruStage payment protection claims. Assist members and employees with initiating payment protection claims. File claims for eligible loans in TruStage website. Apply claim settlement proceeds to loans. Review and process involuntary unemployment deferrals. Cancel payment protection upon borrowers' signed requests. Process and monitor Creditor Placed Insurance (CPI) on consumer loans. Respond to and track loan and collateral inquiries from our CPI servicer. Process "waiver of insurance requirements" at debtors' request and credit union's approval. Serve as a point of contact for CPI provider. Process CPI reports of premiums and refunds and ensure the CPI general ledger balances. File claims through our CPI servicer for uninsured collateral. Apply claim settlement proceeds to loans. Process loan sales. At the Finance department's request, complete the loan sale in DNA. Correct any loan sale errors if errors occurred. Complete monthly investor reports. Process the deposits and withdrawals for all investor custodial accounts monthly. Review, process, and monitor all Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) requests and questions. Research credit disputes submitted directly to the credit union and through e-Oscar. Respond to all disputes that include a letter or images. Delete tradelines due to fraud or at management request. Review and complete Skip-a-Payments. Process approved loan modifications. Correct payment errors and billing errors for consumer loans. Process fee refunds approved by management. Review and process loan payment refund requests. Process miscellaneous DNA loan maintenance as needed. Answer member and employee telephone inquiries. Process and respond to all department emails, tickets, interoffice, and mail. Mail letters to members who have not made their first loan payment or a recent loan payment. Research accounts and provide loan documents as requested from members and employees. Assist the department supervisor in all areas of consumer loan servicing. Be willing to alter schedule to include evening and weekend hours, if necessary. Develop a working knowledge of the credit union's data and word processing system. Develop an understanding of the credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws, and operational procedures. Adhere to the credit union's S.E.R.V.I.C.E standards. Any other duties assigned by my supervisor or management.
