Vice President & Head of Reserving, Special Projects About the Company Top-tier insurance company Industry Insurance Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President and Head of Reserving, Special Projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing various special projects within the reserving function. This includes but is not limited to developing and enhancing reserving processes, implementing advanced reserving techniques, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves a high level of collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior management to drive the strategic agenda of the reserving department. Applicants for this role should have a strong background in reserving and a deep understanding of actuarial principles. A Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society or the Institute of Actuaries is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the property and casualty insurance industry, with experience in reserving for various lines of business. Proficiency in programming languages and data analysis tools is highly desirable. The role also demands excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset to effectively manage and deliver on special projects.
