Conducts recruitment and college and career navigation for adult education students to support enrollment, retention, persistence, completion, and transition to college and the workforce. Implements recruitment strategies, provides case management, monitors student outcomes leading to goal achievement during and after program exit, develops customized learner-centered career training pathway plans, and provides planning and support services to students enrolling in credit bearing educational and career training programs. Collaborates regularly with success coaches, staff, instructors, and managers; maintains required documents and tracks student data as required by the program. Essential Functions 35% - Provides college and career navigation and transition coordination for adult education students in GED test preparation, English language, and career training classes; Recruits and supports student enrollment, participation, retention, and success in college and career training and postsecondary programming; Leads and supports the application preparation process for co-enrollment in credit career training, Adult ACE, and other programs. Provides planning and support services to students enrolling in credit-bearing educational and career training programs 35% - Develops and oversees customized learner-centered academic/career training pathway plans; Analyzes survey and program data to guide student enrollment in applicable career training pathways; Plans, organizes, and facilitates team meetings with success coaches, staff, instructors, and managers, at community-based locations; Identifies wrap-around services to foster student retention and success; Maintains knowledge of program opportunities and reviews program requirement criteria to evaluate and determine eligibility; Serves as a program and student liaison providing adult education program-related advisement and information 20% - Develops, analyzes, coordinates, and implements program priorities, special events, and activities across multiple locations; Collects, analyzes, and interprets data to gauge program effectiveness and inform decision-making; Tracks and reports career and transition data; Monitors program-wide student outcomes leading to goal achievement during and after program exit 10% - Develops and maintains program resource information, presentations, and promotional materials; Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs. OR Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and four (4) years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs. OR High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs. Special Requirements: Must be able to obtain the Arizona Department of Education Adult Education Certification (which includes AZ DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card). Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: Applicants must have or be able to obtain an Adult Education Certificate within 30 days of hire. Desired Qualifications A. Master's degree B. Three (3) or more years of experience providing college and career advising to students from underrepresented/underserved backgrounds and cultures C. Three (3) or more years of experience providing case management and referral services to diverse student populations to support student retention and success D. Three (3) or more years of experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff, faculty, and the public E. Three (3) or more years of experience developing and delivering presentations to small and large groups of students and community partners F. Three (3) or more years of experience analyzing, evaluating, and summarizing statistical or program data Special Working Conditions Will be required to travel or be assigned to multiple locations.
