Director of Graduate Enrollment Management Job no: 497892 Work type: Staff Full-time Department: Katz School Location: Beren Campus, 245 Lexington Avenue, NY, NY Categories: Academic Administration Position Summary: The Katz School of Science and Health is seeking a Director of Graduate Enrollment Management. Reporting to the Executive Director of Enrollment Management and Partnerships, the Director of Graduate Enrollment Management is responsible for providing strong leadership in developing, overseeing, and maintaining effective student-centered recruitment, outreach, and enrollment processes for potential students and meeting recruitment, admission, and registration goals for the Katz School. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust domestic recruitment strategy and will oversee the daily operations of recruiters and the call center. Position Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities: Develop and execute recruitment strategies that attract a diverse pool of high-caliber applicants across the U.S. to Katz graduate programs. Provide leadership advancing graduate enrollment goals. Manage the Admissions team to meet the strategic goals and objectives of the department, including responsibility for hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff feedback. Develop and track admission performance metrics. Report information to key stakeholders including the senior leadership team, faculty, and staff. Plan, implement, and oversee all on- and off-campus outreach and recruitment events, including open houses, information sessions, college fairs, and corporate visits. Attend recruitment events and fairs on- and off-campus, in-person and online. Counsel and advise prospective students on admission and enrollment processes. Manage all aspects of recruiting outreach, including answering emails, telephone calls, walk-in inquiries, and outreach via social media platforms. Oversee the application review process and serve as a member of the Review Committee. Make recommendations or decisions on applications for admission. Ensure timely processing of applications. Work with Graduate Student Services, Student Accounts, Financial Aid, and Registrar to help admitted applicants enroll. Identify and benchmark with best practices to improve the CRM system and application process to ensure a smooth application experience for prospective students and improve efficiency and accuracy in reporting and forecasting. Collaborate with marketing department and social media teams to develop marketing plans, assist in selecting vendors and producing collateral; and assist program directors to identify opportunities for new programs based on market needs. Perform other duties as assigned. Product Knowledge: Develop fluency and comfort speaking about Yeshiva University, Katz School, individual program's curriculum, and specific expertise of faculty. Become familiar with trends in the job markets for STEM and Health programs, including student outcomes such as job placements and salaries, internship placements, and capstone projects. Paying for School: Working with the Office of Student Finance, develop expertise to help graduate students navigate paying for school, financial aid and scholarship opportunities, and balancing work with school. Experience & Educational Background: Master's degree 6years of progressive experience in student recruitment and admissions in a graduate or professional school Demonstrated record of success in enrollment growth Demonstrated proficiency in an Admissions CRM such as Ellucian Recruit, Salesforce, or Slate Availability to work evenings and weekends, and to travel domestically for recruitment events Skills & Competencies: Fluent in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
