Position Summary As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you’ll be a key contributor in our Enterprise Products Acceleration – Integration: ESL, EIP, API Integration organization. We are seeking a proven technical leader to join a high priority program that is focused on transforming CVS customer service experience. We are on a journey to turn technology transformation strategy into action in the form of solution and integration designs. As the Senior Software Development Engineer, you will lead and direct day-to-day activities of 365x24x7 Operations team, including specialists from L2 and L3 Application Support. The Senior Software Development Engineer will also lead team efforts to provide analysis and support for application issues, while being responsible for meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) for all incidents. The right candidate will spearhead the Application Support team with various technology backgrounds – IBM IIB, Data Power, APIC and WebSphere related issues. The Senior Software Development Engineer will mentor and train others to perform troubleshooting and solve application related problems while overseeing the identification of application root-cause problems and resolutions. Required Qualifications 5 years of experience in an application support or application development role 3 years of experience with the following technologies – IIB, DataPower, APIC 3 years of experience in designing, developing services and supporting using DataPower and APIC service components 3 years of experience leading the handling of projects independently and leading tasks end to end 3 years of experience with XML and related technologies like XSL, XPath, XQuery, XSLT 3 years of experience with DataPower services like multi-protocol gateways, web service proxies, firewalls 3 years of experience with SSL Handshake, DataPower proxy profile, DataPower deployment policy, UCD, SVN and GITHub Preferred Qualifications 3 years of experience with Middleware, services/APIs with REST based 2 years of extensive experience designing complex integrations with a focus on performance engineering and loose coupling utilizing APIs and Services 2 years of experience with any or all of the following: Agile/Scrum Development & Management, Scaled Agile Framework, Iterative & Incremental development approaches, Continuous Integration and delivery Experience as a Technical lead developing middleware integration solutions or architecting large scale federated systems Experience in enterprise, application and information architecture methodologies and design and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience Strong working knowledge of IIB/IBM WebSphere Message Broker, IBM WebSphere MQ, work with Eclipse Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience) Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $92,700.00 - $201,900.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
