Duties: Support agile based SDLC for software development creating necessary standards, tools and best practices in a clearly document form. Participate and support development and software delivery. Organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meeting. Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress. Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility. Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on Product & Sprint Backlogs. Support the development managers and project leads as necessary. Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition. Identify and remove impediments that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the sprint goal. Ensure the team strives to make each increment of functionality potentially releasable. Participate in the organization and planning of the development schedule based on methodology that has been developed to create a cohesive plan with identifiable platform dependencies, and major milestones, and manages the agreed project user stories and schedules, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters. Adapt project scope, schedules, and resource assignments as required throughout projects to respond to emerging requirements and risks. Job Location: Jersey City, NJ Salary: $160,750 to $269,300 per year Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. What you have Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 60 months of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience in a related occupation. Experience must include the following: Develop and execute key artifacts and agile backlog items including requirement documents, epics, stories, features, technical enablers, technical debt, and release notes using JIRA, Confluence, Clarity PPM and Share Point tools; Execute projects using financial domain knowledge of stock trading, options, mutual funds, exchange traded funds and fixed income securities and institutional applications involving rebalancing business model; Deliver projects in Agile methodologies to develop frameworks, develop scrum team technical skills, and enhance team competence to understand and support the development process using Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks; Develop JQL queries, dashboards, and reports using JIRA; Develop scrum board in JIRA and execute daily standups, sprint reviews, sprint demos and retrospectives, as well as collaborate with quality assurance and business teams for sprint demo activities; and Review and track production issues, review and analyze issue logs from Splunk, and defect management using Remedy, JIRA, and HP Quality Center.
