The Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the Director of FP&A and will play a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision-making at a strategic level. This individual will focus heavily on financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and providing actionable insights to support the growth and operational efficiency of the business. Experience in private equity-backed companies and strong financial modeling expertise are highly desired for this role. Requirements Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and maintain complex financial models, including financial projections, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis. Ensure models are robust, accurate, and reflect various strategic scenarios. Budgeting & Forecasting : Collaborate with the Director of FP&A to support quarterly reforecasting efforts and the annual budgeting process. Work closely with leadership to ensure accuracy and alignment with overall business goals. Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on financial performance against budget and historical trends, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations to leadership and private equity partners. Produce timely and accurate financial reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making. Business Partnering: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Product, to gather data, understand key business drivers, and support decision-making with financial insights and analysis. Private Equity Reporting: Assist with financial reporting to private equity sponsors, including performance metrics, KPI reporting, and value-creation tracking. Help ensure that financials and reports align with investor expectations. Strategic Planning & M&A Support: Support the Director of FP&A in long-term strategic planning, including the development of financial models for new initiatives, potential M&A activity, and other growth strategies. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements within the FP&A function, improving the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of reporting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide ad-hoc analysis to leadership to support business decisions, investment opportunities, and strategic initiatives. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong focus on financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting. Experience in the SaaS industry or technology sector strongly preferred. Previous experience working in a private equity backed environment is a plus. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. Solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of private equity financial reporting and metrics. Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, FP&A software). Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and interpret business strategy and financial implications. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with leadership and cross-functionally. High level of integrity and professionalism.
