Description DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Products and Services Emerson Automation Solutions Products (DeltaV, DeltaV SIS, Syncade, etc.) Emerson Reliability Solutions Products (CSi Equipment, etc.) 3rd Party Products or Buyouts (PLCs, MCC, Cabinetry, Field Instrumentation, etc.) Emerson Automation Solutions Services (Automation Engineering, Virtualization, Commissioning, etc.) Emerson Reliability Solutions Services (CSi Implementation, Data Collection & Analysis, etc.) Control Southern Services (Automation Engineering, Installed Base Support, Commissioning, E&I Design, etc.) Solution and Proposal Development Responsibility for developing and writing project proposals for opportunities as needed. These can include Emerson Products & Services as well and 3rd Party Products and Control Southern Services. Proposed deliverables must meet customer needs and be accurate as well as financially sound for Control Southern. Create and maintain strategic business and personal relationships at existing and prospective customers. Participate in internal pursuit strategy and proposal reviews as required Jointly develop strategic account and pursuit plans with Territory Managers as required Participate in internal project hand-offs with sales, customer support and engineering as required TRAVEL : The Solutions Architect may be required to travel overnight more than 50% depending on territory size, pursuit dynamics and principle requirements. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : BS Engineering preferred, other 4 year degrees can be acceptable as well based on qualifications. Experience (10 years) working in a process industry or manufacturing environment is preferred. Previous process automation engineering experience is also preferred.
