This role is pivotal in the decarbonization of affordable housing and community facilities, with a focus on creating healthier, safer, and more affordable homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for standing up a new business line, developing and implementing green lending strategy, and ensuring the deployment of investments aligns with the National Clean Investment Fund. Key responsibilities include providing guidance on green lending underwriting, monitoring, and program requirements, as well as managing a team and engaging with the EPA and other partners. The role also involves private capital raising, structuring investments, and representing the company at industry events. Applicants for the Vice President, Green Lending position should have a strong background in community development lending, with at least 10 years' experience, and a deep understanding of clean energy financing. A proven track record in raising and structuring private investments, excellent relationship-building skills, and a commitment to racial, social, and climate justice are essential. The role requires strategic leadership, management skills, and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree is required, and an advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
