This position plays a crucial role in advancing the decarbonization of affordable housing and community facilities, emphasizing the creation of healthier, safer, and more affordable homes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to establish a new business line focused on green lending, crafting and executing strategies that align with the National Clean Investment Fund. Your key responsibilities will encompass providing expert guidance on green lending underwriting, monitoring, and program requirements, along with managing a talented team and engaging with the EPA and other partners. Additionally, you will be involved in private capital raising, structuring investments, and representing our organization at industry events. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in community development lending, with a minimum of 10 years' experience and deep expertise in clean energy financing. Proven success in raising and structuring private investments, alongside exceptional relationship-building skills, is essential. A strong commitment to racial, social, and climate justice is key to our mission. This role requires strategic leadership, adept management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; an advanced degree is preferred. We seek an individual who is skilled in decision-making, change management, and optimizing organizational effectiveness, with the flexibility to travel as needed (approximately 25%).
