Overview The Maintenance Parts Crib Attendant will be responsible for managing the Maintenance Parts Crib and will support the Maintenance Department and others as needed. Job Responsibilities Monitor EAM to review part requests and transfers; Ensures spare parts inventory is received, maintained, and distributed according to specified procedures; Keeps inventory and all related records organized and orderly for ease of retrieval; Maintain appropriate inventory levels through cycle counting and usage metrics; Assist with purchase orders as needed; Look up asset information in EAM; Receive all indirect materials into EAM and communicate with MRO Supervisor for lead time on critical items that are below minimum quality; Work with maintenance planner to kit parts for planned work orders and scheduled PM's; Ensure indirect materials information is up to date in accordance with engineering changes and update minimums and tooling requirements; Maintains knowledge of spare parts used to support our maintenance team; Coordinates boxing and shipping parts out as needed; Performs other required tasks as assigned. Job Requirements Minimum High School Diploma; Electrical background a plus; Previous inventory, receiving and organizational experience required; Good communication skills, both written and oral for internal and external customers; Attention to detail for ensuring accurate recordkeeping; Ability to work independently with little to no supervision; Self-motivated and proactive with a strong work ethic; Must possess strong skills in forklift operation, unloading, and staging of parts and equipment; Familiar with parts and equipment used in various industrial manufacturing machinery; Display teamwork attitude towards others in department and facility; Maintain satisfactory attendance and work reasonable amount of overtime as needed; Ability to travel to other sites such as Minnesota or Ohio as needed; Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required.
