The Director of Corporate Training is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs that support the growth and development of all departments within the organization, with a significant emphasis on the sales team. This role involves strategic planning, curriculum development, and ensuring alignment with company goals to enhance employee performance, satisfaction, and retention. You Will Develop and implement a cohesive training strategy that aligns with the company's objectives. Create and oversee the execution of training programs across all departments, ensuring a particular focus on sales training. Assess the effectiveness of current training programs and make continuous improvements. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development. Design and deliver sales training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team. Develop materials and resources tailored to different levels of sales personnel, from entry-level to executive. Collaborate with the sales leadership team to identify training needs and gaps. Implement training initiatives that drive sales performance and achieve sales targets. Create engaging and comprehensive training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, workshops, and seminars. Ensure all training content is relevant, up-to-date, and effectively addresses the needs of various departments. Utilize various instructional methods to accommodate different learning styles. Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of training programs. Regularly evaluate training outcomes and make data-driven adjustments to improve training quality. Conduct post-training evaluations and feedback sessions to ensure continuous improvement. Lead a team of training professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities. Foster strong relationships with department heads to ensure training initiatives meet organizational needs. Collaborate with HR to align training programs with overall talent management strategies. Manage the training budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Source and manage external training vendors and consultants as needed. Ensure all training activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements. You Have Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in training and development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in designing and implementing sales training programs. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and levels of management. Proficiency in using training software and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Preferred Skills: Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTM). Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience with e-learning platforms and digital training tools. Background in sales or experience working closely with sales teams. Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
