A leader in simulation software development, is seeking a Senior Embedded C Engineer for a full-time hybrid role in the Greater Boston area. This position is focused on designing and optimizing embedded C software for advanced simulation systems that analyze critical data, including patterns related to natural disasters. You'll develop high-performance solutions used by organizations worldwide to assess risk, improve response strategies, and support disaster resilience. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 5 years of experience in embedded C development. Expertise in developing embedded systems for data-intensive applications. Proficiency with communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART) and data streaming. Strong experience in debugging, optimizing, and testing embedded systems. Desired Skills & Experience Knowledge of data processing techniques for simulation and analysis. Familiarity with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS) and real-time embedded applications. Experience with data visualization tools and libraries. Ability to analyze data and implement algorithms relevant to simulation and risk modeling.
