We'd love for you to join our team Job Summary B&A is seeking a skilled SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SAP BI development, experience in designing and implementing BI solutions, and the ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and technical teams. The SAP Business Objects BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools, to support business analytics and decision-making processes. Responsibilities Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data analysis and reporting needs, and design SAP BI solutions to meet those requirements. Develop and maintain SAP Business Objects reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools. Develop and maintain SAP Data Services ETL jobs to extract, transform, and load data into SAP BI solutions. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the proper integration of SAP BI solutions with other enterprise systems. Ensure the quality and integrity of SAP BI solutions, including data accuracy and consistency, and adherence to corporate and industry standards. Maintain technical documentation of SAP BI solutions, including specifications, design documents, and test plans. Provide end-user training and support for SAP BI solutions, including troubleshooting and problem-solving. Participate in the evaluation and selection of SAP BI tools and technologies to support business needs. Keep up-to-date with the latest SAP BI tools and technologies and provide recommendations for their adoption as appropriate. Education and Experience Bachelor's plus at least 7 total years of experience in technical roles, including reporting/dashboard and data managements roles. At least 3 years experience developing in SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence suite. Required Skills Experience working in other report/ dashboard tools, proven ability to learn new tools. Experience with other tools like Qlik or Microstrategy is a plus. Strong experience with querying languages (SQL, PL/SQL, Scala/Spark SQL, etc) Expertise with developing complex dashboards containing aggregates and rolled up data In-Depth understanding of data and ability to design/develop aggregated data structures Experience translating business requirements into workable reports and dashboards Experience validating report output Desired Skills Demonstrates clear understanding of database design and data granularity.
