2535 DevOps Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities: We have an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer to support TTO 215, Report Authoring and Dissemination (RAD). Efforts will focus on DevOps engineering of a modernization effort to converge NSA's authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools. Responsibilities will include: deploying applications; installing and configuring complex software; managing network servers and technology tools; monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance; and troubleshooting issues and outages. Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly one week out of every 4-6 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked. Required technical skills include experience with: • Linux • AWS, MASH, and VMs • Deployments of distributed web applications (e.g. GitLab CI/CD) • Terraform scripting and VM provisioning • Ansible scripting and development • Thorough understanding of Docker & Docker Compose container technology • Git Desired technical skills include experience with: • AWS, eVo, VM, and UWE environments • Docker Swarm • Python scripting and development • NiFi maintenance and configuration • Elasticsearch maintenance and configuration • Java / Spring Boot (troubleshooting error logs) • HAProxy • MongoDB • Percona (MySQL flavor) • Firewalls • Agile software development practices • Jira and Confluence InterImage Benefit Snapshot: • 401K: up to 3% discretionary profit sharing contribution 100% match on the 1st 7% of pay • PTO: 20 days per year • Healthcare, dental, vision, Free for a single participant • $50,000 Life insurance provided, additional voluntary life insurance available CJ Clearance Level: TS/SCI FSP Job Location: National Business Park, MD
